Bought this last month to go into the garage for extra freezer space. It has performed well for about a month now and I'm hoping it will continue. The site says the model is discontinued, but stores still carry it.

We had been looking for a smaller chest freezer, but we wanted a good brand name. A gentleman who has worked on appliances for years highly recommended the Frigidaire brand. We were thrilled when we found the Frigidaire chest freezer. It is the right size and is allowing us to buy extra meat when on sale. We are really liking it!

I bought this freezer 3 weeks ago and it gets the job done. It just took a couple of hours to be cold enough to receive food. For a small freezer, there is a lot of room inside. There is only one basket that comes with it but I was able to buy a second one on line for $20.

This is my first time using a chest freezer and I've only had it for a week but for the short time I've had this freezer, it has made my shopping trip a lot easier. I can stock up or store more of my leftover or made ahead meals. I would recommend this freezer for anyone who does not have enough room in their freezer or need more room for when they want to make meals ahead of time and freeze it for later in the week to use. The only downside I have with this freezer is that it only comes with one hanging basket. Every freezer should have at least 2 baskets for that extra added room for small items. It is very frustrating to trying to find another basket for my chest freezer because 1. they are never the right size for this freezer and 2. they are Way too expensive for a basket.

Bought this 1 month ago at Home Depot. Put it where I wanted and plugged it in. So far all is well. It came with 1 hanging basket so I purchased 2 more after market and a couple stackable versions as well. We have a small refrigerator freezer and this gives us the option to buy stuff in bulk from Costco and such. I™™ve noticed the frost starting to buildup on the hinge side (like other reviews noted) but nothing excessive. So far we are pleased. Plenty big for a family of 3.

Haven™™t had any issues with it. Works fine. The only weird thing is the freezer says 7.0 cu/ft on the box all around. Yet online and on this it says 7.2.

Bought it less then 3 weeks ago. My food has thawed out now 3 times. The kicker is-the Frigidaire company will give your money back after you jump through a million hoops and then you have to figure out how to get rid of the piece of garbage. It™™s not considered a major appliance but a small appliance and therefore there are no repairs parts. It™™s junk!

I brought a few weeks ago, and so far so good....decent size and quite....however be careful of placement lid has strong hinges that sling the lid open and if under a shelf or too close to a wall can get damaged.

I bought this product about a month ago so I cannot comment on the durability however to this point it is performing well. The freezer is filled and the temp remains at 0 deg. F.There were no dents or scratches when purchased and I was careful to keep in the upright position (which is extremely important) when hauling home. After unpacking and placing in position I left is stand for 24 hours before plugging in and turning on and left it get cold (0 deg. F) before placing fully frozen food in. People that are disappointed with this unit have failed to do one or more of these steps.

Purchased because we had an abundance of garden veggies to freeze this year and needed extra freezer room but didn't want to spend a lot of $$$. This freezes solid and can't even hear it running, it's in the kitchen and is so quiet....nice size too. I filled 4 plastic milk crates with veggies and stacked them inside for easy access to the bottom items....I only wish it came with more baskets.

We bought this freezer to keep a quarter side of beef in. As soon as we brought it home and plugged it in, it only took about a hour or two to get cold. It is quiet and small enough to sit on our closed in sunporch without taking up too much room.We love it.

We bought this freezer to replace a 5cu.ft. one that was using to much energy due to a worn out compressor that would have cost as much as a new freezer to have replaced. We are looking for a new refrigerator and felt a new freezer would help us out with our decision as we needed more freezer space than cold food storage. We bought our chest freezer just before an Alaskan fishing trip and after purchasing an entire steer from a local 4H club. It has a great seal and the door is heavy, which is a good thing when you have 1200 pounds of fish and meat!
