bought model FFRE18L3S2 18,000 BTU from Lowe's in April 2017. first 2 seasons we covered it and left it in the window over the winter....last year we removed it to paint the window trim, etc....covered it and stored it in the garage.....it worked for about 2 weeks and quit yesterday, fan will not come one.....very unhappy.....appears this model is no longer in production to boot

Very very disappointed when the ac stopped cooling. Called the recommended technician he wanted to charge $589.00 for labor to replace what he wasn't sure. He did not use any testing equipment only said the compressor sounded funny. A new ac would cost the same amount.

We replaced our 10 year old Frigidaire unit with this new model. We loved that we could remove the old one and slip the new one into the old case. The new remote with thermostat gives you better overall control of the room temperature. Great value with Frigidaire!

I replaced a 25 year old unit with this around 5 years ago. Worked well until the condenser on the outside rotted and sprang a leak. It costs more to repair than to buy a new one. Id expect more than 5 years of regular use for the investment, I guess they dont make them like they used to.

I'm so happy with this air conditioner. After install I turned it on and its quiet. At 72 it actually cools to 72. The remote cool feature is wonderful. I can have the remote in the far side of the room and it uses the temp sensor in the remote to cool accordingly. The filter alert reminds me to clean my filter which is handy since I can never remember to wash it.

We purchased 3 of these units. Ironically, all 3 units had dents in the sleeves. Very light gauge housing sleeves. Didn't waste my time taking them back because it's just the way they are made.....cheap housings and plastic parts. That's what happens when America out sourced. Features are nice and they are quiet, so that's what counts.

I have had this for over a month now, love it except for Eco mode. This mode is useless as it does not keep the room any where near the desired temperature. Otherwise cools nicely, quiet and does what is needed.

It has been about one month of steady use now and I must say that this unit is absolutely fantastic! Everything on the front panel is included on the remote! It was easy to install and will even let you know when its time to clean the filter! I am so impressed that I'm considering another!!!!!

I purchased a Frigidaire from the ABT store in Chicago.This window unit works as well if not better than central air, plus the fact it saved me a ton of money with the energy saver.
