Expected more for the money

Expensive for a top freezer. First one had to be exchanged because freezer wasn't working properly and we lost a ton of food. Best Buy was great to work with though. Ice maker and fridge in general is loud (louder than the fridge we replaced which was 20 years old).

Just what I wanted, stainless, no ice maker,

I love the refrigerator but my condiments keep falling out of the door rack and now the plastic bar has split in half and I have no shelf. The door shelves are flimsy and have a gap so small items fall out, and wider items are too heavy. I need a new door rack/bin that holds the items securely

I bought this refrigerator when my 15 year old refrigerator died. I wanted a stainless steel top freezer and there were not a lot of options. This frig makes quite a bit of noise. My living room is open to the kitchen so it is a little bit annoying. The freezer is smaller than my old one because of the ice maker. Overall it is an ok appliance but I do miss my old frig.

So far, I'm happy with this refrigerator. Today, the milk in the refrigerator was frozen, but maybe the control is a bit too high. Other than that, it's working great.

Freezer door won't stay shut!!

I have give this refrigerator high marks for ease of use/storage capacity however, I cannot keep the freezer door closed. Every time I go into the fridge the freezer door pops open just enough to let food thaw but not open enough to notice that its open. The fridge is located by our bar so I'm not in it all the time and guests have no idea we're having a problem so the result is I keep finding thawed food.

I bought this and other appliances from Frigidaire, and so far this is fine, It makes a perculating sound now and then, but It's fine so far. I bought Frigidaire because I got tired of other brands I bought always had problems.

Bought this a month ago to replace one that I bought for my bar 14 months ago (I changed from black appliances to stainless steel). Loved my black one, it had the capacity I was looking for for bar type items so I bought another one. Holds lots of beer, wine coolers, Mike's hard, coke, ginger ale, etc. Can hold tall wine bottles as well as giant orange juice containers and water bottles, it holds a ton. The bins on the door are the bomb. My new one is just as great but I'm questioning the quality. When the refrigerator door shuts the freezer door pops open and twice my frozen food has thawed. Being that its down at the bar I don't look at it all the time so twice after a party on Saturday I found it open on Monday with thawed meat. We had big cook outs and now I pay close attention to it. The seal around the freezer door just doesn't seem to have the suction that it should have. The fridge door is perfect not a problem at all. I've cleaned around the seal thinking it might have some residue on it to no avail. Had a repair guy here, he checked to make sure it was tilted properly but that wasn't the problem, he said that's just how it works, a new seal won't fix it. I hesitate to recommend it because of the freezer door problem but it has a great design for the fridge. Holds far more than all the fancy fridges including the giant one in my kitchen. Really great design.

WORST refrigerator EVER

I'm on my third service call and my refrigerator still doesn't stay cold. I can't get the temperature below 40 degrees at maximum setting. They say the noise it makes is normal it sounds like rocks bouncing around in a dryer. The quality of the bins and the drawers are terrible I anticipate them breaking or cracking. I am 57 years old and never had a refrigerator this bad. I would feel bad even donating it to an organization.

If there was anyone in a position of authority to speak with, I would turn this refrigerator back in for a different model. It is absolutely terrible. It makes more noise than any other refrigerator I have ever owned in my entire adult life....and I'm 60 now. The last person I spoke with at "Electrolux" said the noise is "perfectly normal". I disagree. On top of it all, the freezer is set at maximum and it isn't enough to keep my ice cream frozen solid....it's like mush. Clearly, this refrigerator is not normal. IN addition, the plastic drawers are so flimsy, the handle part bends when you pull the drawer out. This is a cheaply built appliance and it shows. I want to replace it but the Frigidaire-Electrolux folks don't want to do that. I guess I just have to wait for it to break and have the service man say it's going to cost as much to fix it as to buy a new one. That's what I was told with my previous refrigerator....also a Frigidaire. I WANT A REPLACEMENT.

A Step Down From My Previous Gallery Frigidaire

It seems like this model was redesigned to make it less ergonomic and cheaper in overall quality. My previous Frigidaire Gallery had much more shelf space on the doors for example. With the new one, I had to use up shelf space for all the condiments that fit comfortably on the door shelves of the old one. In addition, this refrigerator makes all kinds of loud, tick, tack, clack and popping noises whenever the compressor goes through a cycle. I thought my previous unit was loud but this one is ridiculous! I called support service and they said that "this is normal"...........normal? It's like saying the behavior displayed by a car with flat tires is normal because the car has flat tires. All three of the drawers in this newer version of Frigidaire Gallery are so thin and flimsy, I have the feeling that they are going to crack or otherwise break quickly with only normal use.My previous Frididaire Gallery only lasted ten years and because of the design, the repair man said it would cost almost as much to fix it as to buy a new one so I was forced to buy a new one. I wish now I had researched a different brand and model.

We bought this to replace our bottom freezer model. I have a small kitchen so I didn't have a lot of space for a wide refrigerator and I was tired of digging through the bottom of the freezer basket for frozen foods. This refrigerator has plenty of space, large shelves that move easily and one that even folds back in the center if I have a very large tall item! The door holds plenty of bottles and a gallon of milk. The only problem I've had is that the seal on the freezer isn't very strong. When you shut the bottom door the freezer pops open. I haven't had a chance to call service yet.

Like it overall but the front seal sweats and then the wetness refreezes so its not air tight. My frozen foods get ice inside of their packages which creates ice crystals on all of my food in the freezer (frown).

2nd refrigerator still not happy

1st refrigerator would not get cold. 2 service calls later still not working. NEW refrigerator arrived 4 days ago and started off cold now it seems to be having trouble getting cold and it is making noises. The door is sagging, out of square and seal is damaged. NOT happy going back to appliance store tomorrow.Temperature won't go below 41°

I bought my new fridge a couple of months ago as my old one died. This model is awesome! Lots of room and separate controls for the freezer and fridge portions of the unit. Nice finish and cleans up easily. Very quiet running motor and moves easily on rollers when you need to clean behind the unit.

Got the fridge 5 months ago. The ice maker takes 5 days to fill the bucket. There are times when no ice is made overnight! Not as much room as the fridge that I just replaced. Replaced with same brand and size but still not as much storage.

Bought this refrigerator a month ago and it continues to impress. The finish really does resist smudges and the interior cleans up easily. The door shelves can be moved to accommodate almost any sized item. One feature I really like is how quiet it is. We have this in our family room and it is so quiet that we can't hear when it is running while we are watching TV. Highly recommend!

We're on our 3rd refrigerator. The first one was defective and Frigidaire replaced it, but the replacement arrived damaged, so now we have number 3. Unfortunately, this unit, like the first one, is very noisy. It was leveled to try and eliminate the noise, which sounds like a death rattle when the compressor turns off! I have requested another service call.
