2 years old and microwave had no power. Researched online and found advice to change fuse (there was a blown fuse). Now it trips the circuit breaker as soon as we try to use it. Did more research, and it's likely a switch in the door. A $500 microwave should last more than 2 years.

Worked well for the first couple years. But noticed it would trip the fuse if you opened the door without pushing the stop button. This happened again recently and then it wouldn't even work without blowing the fuse. Defective. Would not recommend. Hate to trash it but why fix it when I read others having the same problem even after fixing! Very disappointed.

Runs quietly, but notification is deafening

This microwave fit perfectly into the existing space and looks great above the range. The one very irritating feature is the loudness and longevity of the signal made when the cooking time is done. There appears to be only a choice to have it loud an obnoxious, or no sound at all. Otherwise, this is a great product.

Died seven days after the warranty expired

I bought this on Nov. 6, 2019. On Nov. 14, 2020 the unit died. Just a few days past the warranty. It won™€™t even power on now. I was hoping it had just tripped the breaker but no luck. The thing is just dead. It always had a strange sound but I didn™€™t think too much about it, maybe this unit was just a dud from the beginning. But in any case, I don™€™t want to put any money into fixing it because if it can™€™t make it more than a year without breaking down, I doubt how long it will last before it has another problem.

I bought this microwave on Sep 9, 2018 and at the time of writing this review (Oct 21, 2020), this microwave has already gone through 5 service appointments. Two of them happened within the first year of manufacturer warranty. That prompted me to take a warranty extension (at my expense) for 5 years of additional warranty. I can't get 6 months out of this microwave before something happening to it - blown fuses, magnetron issues, vent motor blow out, etc. At one of the service appointments, the technician did a full breakdown and rebuild of the unit and still nothing helped.I do not recommend this product. It was severe quality issues that Frigidaire is unable to address.P.S.: I had an original review written that was rejected by Frigidaire mentioning that my review directs business away. I presume this moderated version of my review will be posted.

The microwave stopped working. Calling customer service takes literally at least 1/2day. After 2 techs failed to show up the 3rd tech I had to take to his shop3rd tech told me he fixed it but you cannot open door to stop microwave as manual States. He also told manufacture this. Now trying to get microwave replaced is another headache. They keep giving me run around instead of just replacing currently have big paper wieght.

Bought the entire Frigidaire Gallery collection when we purchased out new constructed home. I registered all the products purchased. The issue with the microwave just started where it trips the breaker ever time you open the door. I have replaced the fuse, plugged into a different GFI to see if it was the GFI but nope it did the same thing. Very disappointed to have spent over $500 on what I thought and researched to be reliable and long lasting microwave. After reading on of the reviews now I see that I am not the only one who is having this issue and apparently calling for service repairs doesn't help nor does calling Frigidaire.

Installation, for me wasn't too difficult since I was replacing another brand that I also installed, however it would be a great selling point if you had your own youtube installation video and added a cardboard template. Next, for the microwave oven itself, you should reprogram the "meal finished alarm", so that it automatically stops signalling after the first signal. Lastly it would make your product so much enjoyable if you re-designed the door latch mechanism, it's somewhat hard to open and close without letting everyone know what you're doing

I bought this about a year ago, and yes the same thing happen as described by most customer on here. It would trip my breaker when I used it , this happened couple times, till that resetting the breaker didn't work anymore .. I did research on YouTube, that mention the fused, so I order a fused from Frigidaire which took a month for me to get it, which work but only lasted for 1 week, so I reordered two more from Frigidaire which again took 1 month to get here, lol 3 fuses which only lasted one week , this tells me it the microwave,now I am out over 500 dollars, I still haven't gotten a new one cant afford it..

On the last time, the service person said it needed to be replaced. Now, I have an expensive appliance that I cannot use nor afford to replace at this time. We just replaced our stove, refrigerator, and microwave with the Frigidaire gallery collection in October 2018. The microwave worked great until we hit about the 15 month mark (of course right out of warranty). It first started making a noise like the turntable was getting hung up or wasn™€™t placed on the bottom in the right spot. We checked to make sure the turntable was in the right spot and positioned as it was supposed to be in the bottom of the microwave, it was in fact in its correct location. A few days after it started making this noise it then started tripping the breaker whenever you opened the door while it was running; after about a month of doing that now it just trips the breaker as soon as you hit start. It does this every single time, so it is not even usable. We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 15-20 years ago and it was junk but I decided we would give Frigidaire another chance this go around. That was the worst decision we made and I will never buy another Frigidaire appliance. I will make sure to review it everywhere that I can & tell all of my family and friends to stay away from this brand.

I bought microwave in February as part of kitchen renovation. Installed this past month.First time owner with an over the stove microwave and a Frigidaire product. Perfect for space saver, works good so far. Did not give 5 stars only due to microwave being new and not wanting to give false expectations for someone else.
