We have had this unit for about three months. Love the lights inside both the frig and the freezer. Originally not thrilled with a side by side as we have always had the upper/lower units but am very pleased - actually easier to find things in the freezer! Ample storage in both the frig and freezer & the doors. We have the water/ice dispenser which has turned out to be a very handy feature. Only concern is the temperature control which I have tried adjusting up and down numerous times to find the right adjustment, a bit of freezing in the frig still.

We have had this refrigerator just about 2 months. Started out great then the top section of the refrigerator wasn™™t cooling and was 52 degrees. Called the 800 number , very nice lady and scheduled service appointment. Service man came, ordered part, came back and installed it. Same thing happened, not cooling. Called service man, he came again, we had corrupt computer and a replacement has to be ordered from the manufacturer. So things are a little imperfect but when it™™s repaired I will love it !!!

I didn't buy this refrigerator, it came with our home we just purchased. The refrigerator was working great the first week. Now the ice maker does not release the ice. When trying to get ice, it just makes a humming sound. Don't know what to do.

I bought this refrigerator one year ago, and one year on the dot (ie the day the warranty expires), two different door containers broke with no help and the ice maker stopped working. Very disappointed.

My one request was for the finish that didn't show finger marks. Purchased the one that "claimed" finish would not show finger prints. False statement. Every single mark shows up. It is horrible. Special cloth and special cleaner don't help. Not happy at all.

From the day we got it we had problems and still do. Service guys has been here twice and will need to return after he gets more parts. When I frist call the factory they wanted me to pay for the repairs just incase it was installed wrong even after 3 different installers came and looked at it. PS So I enetered my nick name as requested below and it stated it wasnt long enough... IT'S MY NAME!

I bought this unit to replace another new unit purchased from another maker because the ice maker on the other did not work. This ice maker in this unit is not quite what I was looking for. It barely keeps up with my consuption of ice. In other words it does not put out enough ice. Also, the drawers are made with such a light plastic that I don't think they will last very long. They are not built quite like they should be. I shouldn't have to fill a vegetable drawer and then be afraid to open it because the handle to the drawer is not quite strong enough. Also the guard below the ice/water dispenser is so flimsy that after using the dispenser for a month it is warped. It no longer sits flat in the depressed place that it is supposed to. Also, this s unit replaced a 25 cu. foot unit that just so happened to be larger that the 25.5 unit of Fridgidaire's. The door shelves are an inch smaller and the unit is not as deep as the other unit. In other words this 25.5 unit is not quite as big as the previous 25 unit of ther other brand.

I had to replace both door bushings when it was delivered. I can not believe it came from the factory in that condition. Also the doors separation was uneven and had to have aligned.

New frig installed this morning. Seems to be working fine. Some observations and issues: - The unit includes an air filter (a piece of corrugated material that appears to be carbon impregnated). It comes in a paper box with a removable tear out "window" on one side. The instructions say simply "place it inside the housing". Nothing about which way - with the exposed filter surface facing out toward the food or in? - Two of the drawers have slide controls labeled Fruit and Vegetable. There is nothing in the manual about these controls. Do they control humidity, temp, or air flow and which way does what?? - On the manual section of the website, one option is the Wiring Diagram. When clicked you get an error message saying to call customer support. I called and they couldn't help. - There are 8 plastic bins that fit in the doors of the frig and freezer, Because there's plenty of room for another one in the frig side, I called and asked to buy another one. We found the part number (240356402). Then she told me the plastic bin is $72 each. Think about it - there are 8 similar bins. At $72 each that's $575 JUST for the plastic bins in the doors. RIP OFF!!!! - During the call the rep offered to send me a parts diagram/list. She sent me a link that failed (she said that was common). Then she said she sent me the PDF. That email came but nothing was attached. ( : < ) - also, don't be fooled buy the nice temperature readouts on the front. They only show what the unit is set for, not the actual temperature in the frig.

Upon install the ice maker cartridge was leaking, it was repaired within a couple weeks, Love the refrigerator, but hate that you stopped putting the textured doors on the frig. WHY would you put the texture on the sides and remove it from the door. It doesn't make sense. The front of the frig is where you want the texture. Also disappointed in the size of the ice cubes. They are very small and melt too fast.

My son and daughter in law surprised me and took me shopping for my new refrigerator when my old one stopped working, and bought it for me as a gift. I fell in love with this model immediately when I saw it. It's so bright and spacious. Everything about it is excellent. I highly recommend it. Oh, and I'm a huge ice fanatic, and it makes the perfect smaller round ice cubes - love it!

Should have bought this first, the last fridge I had, had the slide out freezer on the bottom , had to pull everything out to get to something, not with the side by side, and plenty of room. Open the doors and it lights up like a airport, love it.

Since this unit was installed in Feb 2018 it had emitted cracking/ popping sounds in addition to the noisy ice maker activity Had a service call shortly after install and was told by the technician that nothing could be done about the noises as they were caused by metal contracting and expansion by a newer type of materials.Made a couple of subsequent calls to customer service about this situation. Pretty much told that nothing could be done.Feel that Frigidaire should replace this with another model or refund our cost so we can buy a different one

So glad we found that this refrigerator was still available in a white option! Love the extra lighting that also is dim when first opening the door then gradually brightens. We do have squeaky drawers that we hope will eventually wear in and not be so ™vocal™.

Love it, smooth doors (easier to clean) nice lighting inside and in the door for the Ice dispenser. Shelving is perfect just the right amount. Ice maker is a little slow catching up on the hot days, we're getting use to it. Still a great frig.

The fridge, freezer, and ice maker all function powerfully. Unit is easy to control, maintain/clean, and has convenient arrangement for drawers and shelves. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is the use of harsh blue light inside the fridge and on the display panel. Opening the fridge or freezer at night risks shutting off your melatonin and delaying your sleep. This is a daytime light frequency you can't easily change to a softer, warmer light. The LEDs inside the unit are not easily accessed. If there was an easy way to swap in different lights or control the brightness, the color of the light inside from the panel - it would really help the experience and health of the consumer.

The only issue I have is one of the plastic drawers does not glide smoothly. It sticks and I have to pull on it hard to open it. I would have preferred the textured surface, but it was not available on this model.

While looking at displays at various home improvement centers, I kept coming back to the Frigidaire models because of their attractive interiors and features. I chose this model because it had a built in ice-maker, nice lighting, and a sense of no wasted space on the inside. The shelves mount to the back of the case, rather than the sides, so the sides of each cavity are very smooth, giving an appealing look and a sense of no wasted space. Water from the door is not particularly cold, but the thing dispenses ice, so, no big deal.
