I bought a Frigidaire Professional to replace a 3 year old Frigidaire Professional Microwave. I thought for the samer model and brand to many things were changed. The holes did not line up! the bolt sizes where different. And the installation was difficult where It should not of been!!!!

I bought this model to replace frigidaire professional series 2 in 1 convection and microwave which was great until it wasn't. It stopped working after 3 years, cost of repair was same as new purchase. This model matches perfectly, the only missing feature is convection which was never used in previous model. While I do miss the "stainless" interior of previous model, for the price difference, this one is perfect.

Great programming functions!

I bought the stove/ microwave combo about a month ago. I really like the fact that the stainless steel around it is fingerprint proof. I like the quick reheat, beverage and keep warm functions! I've never had those on previous microwaves. I also like the function buttons being on the bottom of the microwave instead of on the side. I've never had that on a microwave before either. So far I think I made a very good purchase!

Bought this model and are enjoying all of it's features. Very powerful microwave that heats and defrosts very well. This model was the Microwave of the Year in 2015. It's very nice looking and matches my range from a diferent manufacturer. Here's the pros: LED lights inside and below really light up brightly; controls on the bottom of the door easy to access and use; fan has 400 cfm and works well; great price; white easy clean interior helps visibility when door closed; lots of buttons that are easy to use, not too many, useful and intuitive too; fan turns on if there is too much heat from the range below; door not too wide and handle to open is very industrial and easy to grab for opening and closing the door. The only cons I have are: motor a little noisy and panels often rattle a little more than my old 15 year old microwave of a different make, but this is not a deal breaker and we are used to the noise at this point as the other features are clearly beneficial; buttons do not light up so in a darkened room hard to read them except for the time and time left and up and down buttons; cancel button is red and very hard to see in any light and wish it would light up when the microwave turns on and lastly this model is being discontinued. This is a good basic microwave without convection and I would recommend it.

The best feature of the unit is the ability to easily see the food inside during the cooking process. 1100 watts of cooking power is also a great benefit. LED lights inside as well as above the range provide excellent lighting source. All programming is super easy.

Broke in 2 years - Not Quality

I purchased this microwave with a matching set including stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. The fact the it kept blowing out in only 2 years is unacceptable. This microwave is not cheap. It may look nice but I have other brands of microwaves that have lasted four times the length of this one. I barely used this microwave. Quite honestly I am not thrilled with the stove either. Now I have to go purchase a new microwave. I will be looking for a new brand and would not purchase this brand again.I see many reviews with the same issue of not lasting more than 2 years. I went online and see it is being discontinued on some other sites. Makes me wonder if there is any issue with this product. If there is frigidaire should stand be hind this piece of junk and reimburse its customers.

This microwave was a replacement for the earlier model that did not last. I love that this redesign is larger and more powerful. Other little features have improved. Even Autocook works better, especially with baked potatoes. But I find that the blue numbers and letters are hard to see on the LED message board. Go back to the yellowish color. And the beeper is too low. Even on high you can't hear it. I miss the separate button to turn off the turntable.

Broke just over 2 years old

I loved this microwave I bought with an entire suite and used it it primarily for reheating leftovers. One day it kept blowing it™€™s fuse, even when we didn™€™t use it, and then came the lightening storm inside. Now if it™€™s plugged in it hums a horrible sound and none of the buttons work. I™€™m so grateful I was home so it didn™€™t start a fire. I™€™m disappointed because it was expensive as far as microwaves go and I can™€™t keep replacing it every 2 years. I™€™m considering replacing it with a hood but I see from the reviews that many don™€™t like the lights. Gah! I just wanted everything to match the range which I love besides that there is no true simmer and I got a lemon of a fridge ( it was repaired 4 times in the first few months before they would replace it) and now the microwave. I™€™m so disappointed.

It does a good job with most of the applications. I do have a couple of reservations. First there are times when I wanted to cook something for a minute or so. After the time period end it seemed that the item I had in the microwave was not heated/cooked, kind of like it didn™€™t register. Second, the timer bell is so faint I can™€™t hear it unless I™€™m right by the microwave. Annoying

Top venting a problem

The microwave vents moisture at the top onto our upper cabinets. Our Cherry cabinets are changing color because of the moisture. This is definitely a design problem. Our last Frigidaire vented out the front so moisture wasn™€™t an issue. We will need to remove the microwave and repair our upper cabinets.

This™€™s the second microwave I got , and it™€™s gone again, first one luckily I bought the extended warranty and it broke down, I replaced it with the Frigidaire professional, but I wasn™€™t allowed to purchase warranty again since it was a replacement one , and just right after the manufacturer warranty (1 year) it™€™s gone again , got a diagnostic technician said it needs over $350 to fix it ( the panel was broke down!! ) and need to disassemble it and reassemble again !!! I Haven™€™t decided yet what to do !

We bought a newly constructed home 18 months ago and this microwave was installed brand new by the builder. It is now giving us an error that neither Frigidaire nor the local appliance vendor can decipher without diagnostic tools. The error immobilizes the appliance, so it's totally unusable. The vendor's repair team thinks it might be a sensor, which will cost 282 to replace along with at least 100 in labor ($70 to visit my home and a minimum $25 every 15 minutes). I can buy a brand new microwave for less than $400. We've tried to reset the machine to no avail. We've left it unplugged over night. No luck. Even though this microwave was well treated, I would not recommend it to anyone and good luck if you have one.
