We have experienced a fatal failure on our Frigidaire refrigerator (compressor failure), and have been attempting to discuss concerns through the customer service phone process. To say that it has been frustrating would be an understatement. I have so far spoken with four individuals - all of whom showed zero interest in speaking with a customer, much less listening to the issue (save one who was initially helpful but has not returned a call as promised, nor responded to follow-up emails). The fourth and final individual put me on hold/mute with no explanation or warning ™ the line just went quiet ™ during which I waited an additional 10 minutes for any sign they were still there, frustrating after waiting 35 minutes for a person to get on the line. Prior to that point I was told that there were no notes in the system on prior conversations. We've sent an email to their "socialcare" address, no response.We've noticed in the review sections on www.frigidaire.com that a standard reply by the company has been to stress the commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, this has not been our experience to date.As part of a kitchen remodel in August 2019, we purchased four (4) Frigidaire appliances:Dishwasher ™ FPID2498SFConvection/Microwave ™ FPM03077FFreezer ™ FPFU19F8RFRefrigerator ™ FPRU19F8RFSince August of 2019 we have experienced issues with three of the above ™ the dishwasher was fixed by an appliance service recommended by Frigidaire, the convection/microwave was replaced once and had multiple service calls with various services before and after replacement, coordinated by Frigidaire customer service. It was finally resolved by the same service as the dishwasher (at our expense.) Now the refrigerator needs repair or replacement, and I fully expect issues with the freezer at this rate. The estimate to repair the refrigerator is nearly $1,400 (new compressor, new evaporator, labor, misc).Our frustration is two-fold: the appliance has a fatal failure at less than two years old, and the customer service experience has been dismal at best, unbelievably frustrating, rude, insulting, and completely silent at worst.Again, can not recommend.

I had been looking for a freezerless refrigerator for quite a while. When I found the Frigidaire Professional frig at my favorite hardware store, I felt like I had won the lottery. It keeps food fresh, has plenty of room for my family of 6, and looks great. We can't wait to get the matching freezer!

We™™ve had this fridge for about a month. I searched high and low and finally had to have it shipped cross country because I wanted this specific fridge. I know I overpaid because they™™re hard to find during the pandemic. But I still have no regrets. It replaced my refrigerator/freezer combo because I wanted all of this refrigerator space. It™™s huge and has huge storage on the door that fits gallon containers. It™™s light and bright inside. So far not a single complaint.

This is the second one I owned. The first one (Electrolux) lasted less than 4 years; this one (Frigidaire) lasted less than 2 years. In each case, I was told it's the compressor!

Had professional install fridge freezer combo with trim kit in new house. Failed before we even moved in! Now 5 years later fridge is burned out and lost hundreds of $of food and can't get a replacement fridge. Junk products is the gallery line. Equipped new house full of gallery line Frigidaire kitchen appliances and Frigidaire laundry products and within 2 years we had 80% failure rate. Clothes washer died, dishwasher died, combo oven died, microwave died. Both fridge and freezer died before moving in and were replaced and now fridge dead. Worst purchases we ever made , spent $10k on poorly made products that were supposed to be top line from Frigidaire.

We bought this fridge and it has been nothing but issues from the start. This year alone we have service come out to fix this fridge over 6 times. Cooling issues, we bought this item from Warner Stallion and took out an extended 5 year warranty plan. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE. We have tossed out spoiled food items throughout each repair and nothing we can do about it. Others within our development also complained about this fridge and has the same issues as us..

We just built a new house and the builder called for a 42 inch refrigerator. Have you ever priced a 42 inch refrigerator??? HOLY SMOKES are they expensive. As we were looking around the showroom, we came across this bad boy!!! It is a side by side fridge/freezer combo and totals out to be about 66 inches! And the best part is, it was literally 1/4 of the price. Not only that but it LOOKS amazing in our home. Cools well, seems to be pretty quiet. On the issue thus far is the doors are a little tuff to open and not sure if there is a way to keep them from opening ALL the way, but those little issues would not prevent me from buying again!

Looks great but the lifespan is very short. Look elsewhere for a product that lasts. The fridge will not cool below 48F and had an estimated cost of $1400 to fix

Same issue that everyone else has. Product lasted less than 5 years and I paid more than $3k for it. Compressor is out and needs the works to get it back in working condition. I called Frigidaire and the rep was friendly but only one year warranty on a product this expensive and for the main component that makes it work!? Also, found it humorous that the nearest repair place is in Texas, I'm in Utah. Don't expect this company to back their products and the warranty is there to prove it.

We remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago, built-in and installed the fridge, freezer and trim kit set and have been meaning to write a review ever since. Incredible upgrade from the original 36" combo unit. Pros: Very low failure rate Lots (and lots) of space Great internal lighting Did I mention the Wow Factor!?Cons: Had to repair the ice maker in the freezer 2 years ago Not silent, not too loud, but you can definitely tell when running Because they are "built-in" it is a hassle to get behind them - not sure this is a con since I've only taken them out a few timesIf you have the space and want the look of the pro level built-in, for MUCH less expense and actually larger than the standard 48" (less-than-Zero) - get this setup. We love it.

This set looks very nice. The problem with ours is that it is 5 years old and has been repaired twice and no longer works. Due to the COVID outbreak, no stores have any in stock to replace ours. This brings to light that the size is unique and no other models will fit in the space. We have been without a refrigerator since August and the release date for the new models keep getting pushed back. Now it looks like we will not be getting a new one till some time next year. I hope the new model matches the old freezer or we will need to replace both.

We love this fridge! Over 13 years ago we purchased this style, and when it came to getting a new fridge, we ended up getting the latest version of the single door stainless steel. Absolutley love the bright LED lights, tons of space, quiet operation, and how well it works.

I have had my Frigidaire full freezer and refrigerator for about two months now. The style, built-in look with trim kit, and pricing (compared to true built-ins) is great! I am a bit nervous about the long term reliability. After three days of use the lights went out in the refrigerator. Soon after a small puddle came from under the fridge. Additional insulation was required underneath to prevent condensation from forming and dripping (near condenser lines) and lighting control board was replaced. Initial repairs have me worried about the long term reliability.

I love the lighting and the amount of shelves and bins this freezer has. The simplicity of this refrigerator tells me that there is little that will go wrong with this appliance. This refrigerator is very loud. It hums loudly and almost constantly. Another complaint was that this refrigerator was priced at $1,500 for most of 2019. Suddenly, the price doubled to $3,000 and became impossible to find.

I can see and reach all of my containers. Lots of storage. I wish there was another fruit/veggie drawer. I could use another shelf on the door. It takes a little while to get used to the greater suction of the door, but I've found that I've got the knack of gently pulling on the door so that the fridge doesn't move. My food is cold.

Our refrigerator was purchased in Sept 2016. The compressor is already out. It is over $900.00 to replace. The serving company said it was a known defect.Customer support is terrible and is not available unless you do a live chat. They are trained to say, "I'm sorry, there is nothing we can do". I will never recommend any products by Frigidaire again.

While this system looks nice its pretty much garbage. The drawers and shelves are the same kind you would see in a 399 unit. Cheap plastic that cracks easily. Mine refrigerator portion of the combo just died. I have an extended warranty but will need a new fridge and its now discontinued. Looks like the model replacing it is not the same size either. They suck and you can't call them because no one answers because of covid. Worst company ever they build crap.

We selected this refrigerator along with the matching freezer as we were finishing construction on our new house. We had to modify the plan for our kitchen cabinets to accommodate both units rather than a traditional refrigerator/freezer combo in the original plan. The units were installed side-by-side with the surrounding trim giving the appearance of both being a single unit. The units look awesome and provide an enormous amount of space - far more than we had with traditional refrigerators. I can™™t speak to reliability yet as we™™ve only had the units five months. We™™ve had no issues with the refrigerator. The freezer, on the other hand, has recurring issues with the coils freezing over due to a faulty control panel. I™™m hopeful that we™™ll get several years of use out of the refrigerator and freezer because there™™s no going back to a traditional refrigerator after modifying the cabinets. I™™ll be be adding the extended warranty on both just in case.

Unfortunately there is not an option to leave a zero star review. I left a review previously about our fridge no longer maintaining the proper temperature (in less than a year). I called customer service and went through all their prompts and the automated system provided a service center in Illinois (I live in Idaho)... the system informed me there was nothing closer, really? Nothing between Illinois and Idaho?!?! I figured I must have entered my zip incorrectly. Nope. Tried again and same result. I selected the option to talk to a customer service rep and the automated service kindly informed me that they cannot take calls due to high call volume... Seriously?!?! I have tried calling for over a month now. Same result. I am baffled how a large, supposedly reputable company like this cannot provide basic customer service, or how I even get support at all. I guess it is a great way to avoid ever paying out on warranty claims... just wear the customer down until they give up. On the bright side, our freezer is still working well. Knowing what I know now, I would just say buyer beware. Look for a company that provides good customer service and that stands behind their product. If anything goes wrong, you are on your own.

We installed our refrigerator less than a year ago along with the matching freezer and the trim kit. We love the look, but recently several food items started freezing, and now we are getting High Temp alerts. Despite setting the temp at 36, it is constantly sitting at 50-54?!?! I will update once we figure out what the issue is.

Frigidaire Electrolux knows there is a problem with the cooling system on this model but still tries to repair it but doing piecemeal repairs that don™™t repair the issue but are bandaids to the problem. This unit was installed for 13 months when the cooling system went out the first time. Waited 2 weeks for service. No refrigerator living out if ice chest buying ice each day for 2 weeks. June 17 tech came out and replaced condenser. Less than 3 months cooling out again. Had service last Thursday said he couldn™™t find any leaks. Added freon. Next day cooling out again. Now waiting another week for service. It is my understating from representatives in the industry this model is not available any more. The company knows there is a problem with the cooling system so there is a new model coming which is not available until October. However there is such demand for the refrigerator everyone is on a waitlist. Not only that the new model won™™t match the current matching freezer. Bottom line so far we have spent extra money and time for ice living out of an ice chest for 4 weeks so far. Freon which is toxic has been released in our home 2 times so far. No faith the refrigerator will be repaired properly and how many times do we need to be without a refrigerator? Ugh. Very frustrating

We have only had these units for 6 months. Installed 3 months after purchase due to construction of our new home. And have have issues from Day 1. Door hinge was bent when we received it. 2 months after moving into our home we started having erratic cooling issues with the refrigerator. It runs at 57 degrees and take sometimes 24 to 36 hours to cool down. Then it goes right back up to 57degrees. For the past two weeks i've Called Customer Service 5 times and the times that I would get through to a person and after explaining the situation, I"d be put on hold and the call would disconnect after 15 to 20 min.Thank you Frigidaire for selling me a LEMON that I can't get someone to even take a look at.

We purchased this full size refrigerator and freezer combo with trim kit in July 2019; however we didn't have it installed and begin using it until October 2019. Here we are in August 2020 and the refrigerator is no longer working. The freezer is still working for now but the refrigerator is not. For two weeks now, the temperature won't hold any lower than 54 degrees. It's currently fluctuating between 54-60 degrees (with the alarm sounding off every couple of hours which is extra fun *sarcasm*). We are just outside of Frigidaire's one-year warranty (even though it hasn't been unboxed and in use for a year). I did buy an extended warranty through a separate company (which has ended up being a total waste of money). We have had 2 technicians out here so far and no fix as of yet. We have a third, Frigidaire-certified technician scheduled to come out but their earliest availability? September 30th. We are a family of 6, 4 of which are young children. What are we supposed to do until then?? This is absolutely ridiculous! Absolutely terrible experience so far.

8 months of use and its broken. leaking coolant and not cooling. $1300 to fix. frigidaire has been nice enough to pay to fix it but everyone is busy so it will take at least a month to repair. you can not buy this same fridge now....will the new $3K fridge attach to my old freezer? will it match and look right? who knows? My units are 4 years old. The refrigerator is now not cooling and my local appliance repair shop quoted me $1500 to repair it. The same issue as several others are reporting, it stops cooling and the insulated line is leaking. Tried to buy a new one since the repair cost is so high and they are no longer in production. Who knows if the new model released next year will even fit in the same custom space we built for it in our home. Frustrating.
