Good Washer for a good price

Works great. Have been using it for a couple of months now and have no negative issues with this washer. Like it better than out 8 year old S name front load washer that broke and couldn't be repaired. Fact is that appliances are not made to last as long as they used to be, and for some makes repair parts may not be available when you need them. Remains to be seen how long this one will last. My advice, do your research about who makes what brands, check reviews etc, and, most importantly, if you present appliance prematurely fails - DO NOT BUY AGAIN FROM THE SAME COMPANY.

This is our third Maytag in 53 years! Pretty good return on our money. This one is high efficiency, so it is a little different. It takes longer for the wash cycle but the clothes dry much faster, so it balances out. It cleans the clothes well. I was told when I purchased it and again when it was installed that it would make different noises than what I was used to. It isn't any louder than my old one, but it does make some very different noises.

Had I known how loud this machine would have been I would not have purchased this one and would have bought the brand my mom bought last year it is so quiet they dont know theirs is running!! We chose this one due to the 10 yr limited parts warranty and thought it being a more recent desiged product it would be a quiet one.

Gets the job done

Hate it. Poor function. Uses too little water to actually clean clothes or remove soap residue. Clothes are washed in 6 inches of water...even on deep water cycle. Must use tape roller on all clothing to remove pet hair "after" it's been washed!!! We have one dog...this never happened with previous maytag. All dark clothing has a white soap residue here and there, must wipe off with damp cloth. That's why you have to use low suds detergent because...it can't rinse out suds!!! I already bought one, thought it was defective...took it back...got a 2nd one...same problem. Useless. I mostly hate how it won't fill with water, and the lid locking. I'm an adult...I don't need locked out of my washer!!! I've resorted to unplugging it and filling it with water with a bucket...and ONLY using lemon ammonia for detergent, no soap. Still, clothes do not seem clean at all.

This machine replaced a Maytag that I had for 26 years. I am enjoying this new machine and the many features it has compared to the one it replaced. What I like best is the auto sensing for the water level. This saves a lot of water when you have small load.

I've had the washer for a month and I love it. I love the double rinse cycle and the fact that I set it how I want, put in the clothes and forget about it until the wash is done. Very convenient and the clothes comes out very clean.
