Only Works as Built-in

The beautiful sunset bronze color is only on the FRONT of the fridge. Sides are an ugly battleship grey. So only buy this if you're going to install it as a built-in, otherwise the sides show and don't match the front. Perhaps my mistake for not looking at the 360 degree photo, but clearly the unit should be labeled as "For Built-in Only"

I ordered this refrigerator July 26, 2019. After several delays, the refrigerator was finally delivered on August 10. The delivery company unpacked it and plugged it in. Twenty four hours later, the refrigerator was still not cold. Only the bottom shelf in both the refrigerator and the freezer were slightly cold. I notified my local Home Depot store, but they said I needed to notify the delivery company of difficulties within the first 48 hours. I finally got a store manager at Home Depot who was helpful and said he would have a replacement delivered within a week. The second refrigerator was delivered on August 17, The delivery company (same company/different personnal) dammaged two different walls in my kitchen bringing the 2nd refrigerator into the kitchen. When I pointed out the nicks in the wall and the dammaged paint, they abruptly left and did not remove any of the packing from the refrigerator. I again called Home Depot and was told I could unpack it myself. I lost it! The store did send a representative to remove the packing and attempt to level and adjust the refrigerator. I told them they could send someone to unpack it or pick it up and issue a refund. I reported to them that the top of the refrigerator door was dented. I was again told I would need to report it to the delivery company. I called the Whirlpool hotline directly. Two weeks later, a company representative was sent to my home and agreed to order a new door. Because of the dent, the door could not be adjusted and the refrigerator door is slightly lower than the freezer door. I just received a voice message this week (November 2019) that the replacement door has been received and to call for a date to replace the door. I had ordered the sunset bronze color and was disappointed with the color. There was no sample color in the Home Depot store, so I was ordering from the color pictures on the Whirlpool website. The site does not give a true representation of the color of the appliance. I also purchased the microwave and the dishwasher, which I considered to be a sizeable and expensive purchase amount.

I was hoping the color would be bronzier, more of a rose gold look but it's more of a noticeable hue. It's got a lot of nice features like the ice container easily lifts out to fill ice buckets for parties, etc. I might be missing freezer shelves, there were only three and looks like should be five. If the freezer only has three shelves, that's not good. And the ice maker line is kinda loud. Overall though it's a good value -- high end features and look, reasonable price.

Refrigerator was ordered in February and delivered in April. Our kitchen size limits us to a counter depth refrigerator . Side-by-side doors also conform very well . Size and capacity fulfil our daily needs on a weekly basis. We also replaced a 2nd refrigerator in our garage with a more efficient one with more storage for beverages & weekend entertaining plus additional freezer space. Great feature is the user friendly water/ice door dispenser and controls. On day of delivery, Missing freezer shelves not discovered or reported 'til a later date as we went out of town... too late to determine if delivery or source deficiency. Also, expected to find a complimentary air filter since housing was installed. Pursued "old school" solution...returned to store, was referred to Geek Squad who referred me to Manufacturer. Whirlpool User Guide received with delivery, detailed Accessories part numbers and Customer Service contact info. Customer Service ordered missing shelving to be shipped, (not yet received). I appreciated her info, including new part #, for water filter savings program. BTW, recommended Affresh cleaning products are available on-line, at Home Depot or Walmart.
