I bought this on October 4th and it was not delivered till the 9th. Ice drawer would not release at the time and the next service date wasn't till the 11th. They diagnosed a faulty Ice drawer and then it wasn't installed till the 24th. Somehow I feel the servicing of appliances needs to improve on Whirlpools part. One should not let that much time elapse on a new purchase till repaired. What do you think?

I bought this refrigerator in 11/2016 and I like everything about it EXCEPT the way a replacement filter is changed. The most ridiculous thing is to have to pull out the fridge from the wall, turn off the water, and then change the filter. I am a senior over age 65 and no way can I pull out the fridge from the wall. Luckily I have family to help. I understand they changed this ridiculous way of changing the filter. What year were the changes made? I'd like to know and if there is a replacement piece that can be added on so my fridge can stay in place

The look of this fridge is sleek and modern. Looks fantastic in my newly remodeled kitchen. Unfortunately, I'm finding that I don't have enough room for my taller items (salad dressing bottles, juice containers, wine bottles, etc). This truly caught me off guard as I was switching from a side by side where I never had an issue. I May remove the upper drawer to create more tall space. If you're considering this fridge, take an honest assessment of what you currently store in your current one and make the decision based upon your actual lifestyle and preferences.

I've had this refrigerator for about a month. Everything works as expected of course. I love the ice and water in the door. The stream of water seems to be better than any refrigerator my friends and family have seen. I love the drawer that I can pull out because you can see everything you have there. I put cheese lunch meat and snacks there. I just love it!!!!

The fridge has decent features with several issues. The ice maker vomits ice cubes out in random increments. One door came damaged and has to be replaced. The water distribution on the front door is as inaccurate as can possible be, and calibration doesnt work. But it keeps the food cold. 2/10 would not buy again. Also Whirlpool refused to honor the rebate.

We purchased this appliance in June of 2017. It the span of a week the freezer light went totally out and the top lights started flickering and are now so dim you can't see anything. I have read where others have had the same problems. Miss the old days when you just go to the hardware store and buy an appliance bulb and problem solved.

I bought this from Costco. After owning for a few months, I noticed things freezing in the crisper drawer. Put i digital thermometer and it was registering 31-32 degrees. Service came out, blamed it on my thermometer (his $5 analog was better than my $30 digital). I also complained about the noise level registering 53+ decibels and continuous running. All normal according to him. Bought analog thermometer from Amazon and set it refrigerator. Now registering upper 20's and lower 30's. Put a glass of water in the refrigerator and it froze Call service again. They acknowledge that it should not be freezing. Also acknowledged the noise seems higher than normal. Three service calls later,1.replaced evaporator fan in refrigerator, 2.replaced evaporator fan (again) , change thermistor in ref, changed evap fan in freezer 3.)replaced main board. Freezing stopped for about two weeks but called them again because of noise and oscillating sound (new). Service can find no problem (my ears vs his). I showed him decibel reading of 53+ on my sound app (also showed him this previously). He talks to whirlpool tech support and now tells them he DOESN'T think its loud, and declares no problem found. Advises me I may be billed $130 for no problem found service call (was a problem before, but if you cant fix it just declare it no problem). Next week, water starts freezing in ref. section. again. Went to Costco where they have the same model on the floor and running. Took decibel reading there-55db ambient noise, 63db reading in the freezer section, door open, light button pushed in. Came home-ambient 36db, 70db in freezer. why is mine 7db higher with lower ambient noise?? makes no sense. Call service again for ice problem, they acknowledge ice problem. I show him the db readings, he says the noise is subjective.Uh, no thats why i took the readings-to take the subjectivity out of it. He talked to tech support, they suggest placing a "reading" thermometer. Comes out again, puts in therm, comes a week later and takes it out. Get notification that yes it shows 32 average temp when set at 38. They will come out (tomorrow) and replace the OTHER thermistor (the one the service guy knew nothing about.) Noise problem still not addressed. On hold with Whirlpool to see what they are going to do about the noise. It seems to be known problem about the noise although many report it to be quiet-mine certainly is not. Whirlpool and the service company are quick to tell me that if they send someone out and there is no problem there will be a charge of $130. I suggest to let me tell them the problem and let them decide if it is a problem and if it is to send a service person. They cant do that they say. Only the service person at his sole discretion can determine if its a problem. Catch 22. I suggested a couple of times that OK if i agree to pay $130 if no problem is found, then they pay $130 if a problem IS found. Of course they wouldn't have anything to do with that. My time for 8 service calls is not important I guess. Just off the phone with whirlpool they are going to escalate this internally. I'll see what happens.

I researched for several weeks for a new refrigerator and narrowed my search to this Whirlpool model. I didn't want to pay a ton of money and didn't need the computer capabilities of the more expensive models. I love this one and if it had one more shelf it would be perfect! The refrigerator drawer is awesome and holds tons of stuff. if the shelves and drawers are positioned correctly it can even hold a large tray of food across the bottom.

I am impressed with the quality of this refrigerator. It has a nice solid feel to it. When running, it is very quiet. I like the choice for cubed or crushed ice, especially when making smoothies or frozen drinks. Glass shelves are easy to keep clean and so much space. I have no negative comments! I absolutely love this refrigerator!

I love this refrigerator. Only problem I've had it that once in a while the ice maker backs up and you have to stick you hand up it and loosen it and you get ice all over the floor. Otherwise, I love it.

I bought this fridge and shortly after a year, I discovered the doors are unleveled. After more than an hour with customer service adn chat, and unlike every video posted on their site, this particular whirlpool fridge does not allow for you to align the doors despite what is indicated in the manual. Even the folks at whirlpool said this! So every time I need to close the left door, I have to manually close the flap, since the door has fallen. I'm disgusted with both the fact that this has happened shortly after a year of purchasing the fridge, but most importantly, that there is no solution. This is unacceptable.

We have had this refrigerator a few weeks and love it. We are getting used to the refrigerated drawer and love it. Hopefully soon we will remember not to open the top doors before we open the drawer. It takes old people a while to get used to change but we love it.

I've had my new fridge for 2 weeks now and am very satisfied with my purchase. Not only is it beautiful it's perfect for my family's needs. I love the deli drawer!! Only change I would suggest is for the left side door to open as easily as the right. Currently, the right door opens easily and they both work best when they're opened simultaneously.

I have owned this refrigerator for only three years. The icemaker has stopped making ice for the second time. One year ago I replace the icemaker mechanism and now one year later it is broken again. When it did make ice it would constantly jam. Not real smart putting an icemaker in the refrigerator section of a refrigerator. I would definitely not buy this product again or recommend this product to anyone.
