i bought this electric range two years ago and after a year started having an issue with it. the control display is flickering. it seems as though there are several hundred people having the same problem. i asked samsung about it a year ago and received no reply. talked to them today after i heard there cold be a fire issue, they gave me a number to call for parts. hope i can get some help.

2 yrs. ago i bought range model NE59J7630SG, the paint peeling off in several areas. i contact your support Dept. i was told that they would take care of my problem. month later
i was told that its consider to be cosmetics damage and would fix the problem. i think your company makes piece of horrible product, i speak to over 50 people week and i will make sure that i tell everyone how poor quality your product. i will buy or recommend your product its sad i spent over 4,000. and this the type of junk i got. horrible and sad !!!!!!

We have owned this range for two years now. About six months ago I noticed the black finish was chipping. We purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy but when I called Geek Squad I was told the warranty does not cover outside cosmetic issues. They did tell me that I could get it refinished but cost would be close to $500.00! VERY disappointing so I called Samsung customer service directly only to be told the same thing. I also have the matching fridge & it too is starting to chip as well. As a last resort, I reached out to Samsung corporate only to be told the same thing without any recourse to an issue I did not create to their product. Rediculous that Samsung does not care about the appearance of their products!!

I love everything about my stove! The 5th warming eye has really been wonderful, I don't know how I lived without it before! The oven cooks everything perfectly even, so no more guessing if my casserole's will turn out right!

I bent the bottom drawer of the oven after installing . I missed the styrofoam blocks where the I've drawer was at , when I opened oven door the styrofoam bent the bottom drawer ... Hard to believe . Anyhow great product so far other than the flimsy not sturdy bottom drawer. Also Samsung and Home Depot both have not helped me out with obtaining or purchasing a new oven drawer . They want me to pay for a service tech to come out ? Just let me order a drawer and send it to me . Home Depot and Samsung customer service are not very helpful .

This range gives us everything we wanted, and more. I never thought we'd be able to afford a convection over, and yet, there it is. I am very happy with the different options the range gives us, and also the multiple combinations of burner sizes. All in all, we are entirely pleased with our purchase.

We are returning a newly purchased model #NE59J7630. It looks very good and initial cooking experience is good EXCEPT for a terrifically annoying repeated clicking sound when the oven is on. A local service rep was told on the phone by a Samsung support rep that the clicking is "normal" because of the relays which control the oven's heating and temperature maintenance process.
We have seen dozens upon dozens of similar complaints on the internet, some dating back as far as 2009! It is unimaginable that in today's high-tech society a product would use "relays" which are as noisy as the mechanical ones which were typical more than half-a-century ago. It is inexcusable that the problem has not been addressed since it became evident nearly a decade ago.
We purchased a Samsung microwave at the same time as the stove and, so far, would give it very high ratings. We also have a Samsung refrigerator with which we are very happy.
Bottom line - I wouldn't go near a Samsung stove to warm my hands, but still have a warm feeling about other Samsung products we have purchased.

I had this oven for about 8 months and finally had a cake spill over in the bottom necessitating a self cleaning.
After the self cleaning, there was an area in the bottom front that blistered and the finish was ruined.
I called the support group and was told that since this "does not effect the functionality of the oven" they would not do anything to correct. It was suggested that I call an appliance center to have the surface re-coated so it would not rust.
I called two Appliance repair centers and was told they had nothing to repair that would hold up to the temperatures in the oven during self cleaning. Their opinion was that I either replace the oven interior (very expensive, so may be cheaper to replace), or just live with the imminent rusting that may occur.
I am very disappointed in this defect and have never had this issue with an oven in the past. I would have expected that Samsung would have stood behind their product and found a solution.

We've only had it about three weeks but we love it so far. We absolutely love the look of it, the quality feel of it, and the performance. I wanted gas-but it wasn't in the cards for now as we just bought a house with no appliances, and no additional gas line and our mother in law who is older is moving in for a while (she had a near mishap with gas stove and lighting it, so we thought it wouldn't be the best idea) so we went with the electric. It heats very quickly. When it says "fast boil" it means it. The oven is the same. I have no complaints at all.

We recently purchased this range to give our kitchen a small facelift and make our appliances a bit more cohesive. I was unsure of the black stainless steel at first, but it blends perfectly with our black dishwasher and microwave unit. Also nice is the smudge-proof surface. With young children, that was high on the priority list. This unit is sturdy and nicely built (the knobs are heavy and strong stainless) and it cooks well. I appreciate having a warming station in the center and the solid surface design heats evenly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a mid-price range--definitely worth the money!

We have had our Samsung range for 8 months and it gets a good amount of use. Overall, the range is good although there are a few aspects that can be improved upon. The rear burners do not put out sufficient heat to be useful for any significant cooking and they are also fairly small in diameter. Only the two front burners are truly useful and the rear center warming element is a waste of space.
The oven is great and we generally use it in the convection mode as in regular baking mode we find the temperature to be a bit uneven.
The oven controls are somewhat confusing and we still have not really used all of the features. I am not so keen on the idea of having to pull out the manual to ;earn how to cook.
Most troubling though is the fact that the paint on the front of the drawer began peeling off for no apparent reason and Samsung claims that this is cosmetic and therefore not covered under the warranty. I am not sure how paint that appears to have either been improperly applied or applied to an improperly prepared surface is "cosmetic" . I can think of no reason why this paint should just peel off the surface in 8 months of use. We have followed all of the manufacturers recommendations for cleaning and the paint is just stripping away from the metal.
We purchased a full suite of appliances from Samsung and this is the only major issue we have had but it is quite annoying that they won't stand by their product.

I loved this range. We bought it last summer. I haven't even had it for a year and I used the self-cleaning oven twice with no problem. Then in March I used it again and the oven locked up as it was supposed to do but never unlocked. I have been waiting since March to have it repaired. No oven! It was supposed to be repaired today but apparently the part never came in. Local service people are bad. Just want to warn possible purchasers so this doesn't happen to you.

Oven showed up "DEAD ON ARRIVAL". After installing the oven per manufacturer's instructions I went to set the clock and upon trial and error I discovered that the 4, 7, 8, 9 and START/SET buttons did not respond, which means you can't turn on the oven. Lowes delivered the item and it is in perfect condition (no bumps, dings, or scratches of any kind) and honestly it looks really good. Only problem is that I didn't buy it to just look good, I actually intend on using it! Lowes offered to exchange it with a new one; however, they would need to order it, which takes 2-3 weeks. Next option was to have a service tech look at it. The service tech made it out the next day, but only spent 5 minutes looking stuff up on his computer just to tell me he needs to order a whole new display and motherboard. Of course that will take 3- 10 business days. He never touched the oven other than to open the drawer to get the model and serial number.
So now I am stuck with an expensive piece of junk for a couple weeks. I guess I'll drag the old trusty Whirpool oven back in and continue to use it.

We purchased this range for the convention oven feature and the fact that it matches our Samsung refrigerator. I must say the range has exceeded our expectations. Not only is it beautiful to look at, the oven cooks perfectly and the range top cooks quick and even. Overall we give this product 5 stars. There's only one thing I wish was different. It would be great if the range top of stain resistant and easier to wipe down from spills. But all in all it is a great product once it is all cleaned up properly after each use. I look forward to many years of using this range.

reheating pizza or baking anything with a crust has been really enjoyed. the timer and digital controls allow easy operation of oven temp. The eye knobs are metal and heavy remove for cleaning. Buy a cleaning kit as it will come in handy. I would says clean the top with the polish before you even cook the first time on it. I have made several big messes on mine but the cleaning kit has everything to keep it as flawless as new. I love the large eyes and pan adjustable ring eyes

Just a fair warning, I bought a full set from Lowe's. Range, Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Microwave just about a year ago just as the black stainless steel was coming out. Now the "black" stainless steel finish is peeling off the oven door right where the handle attaches, Not even in a area where you grab the handle where you might think it was wearing off from handling.. May be from the heat or just defective finish. Now I worry about the other 3 appliances. Big investment for sorry performance. You may want to stay away from black stainless steel until they figure it although it seems like Samsung is running in to issues across the board with quality control.

I like the performance of the oven, particularly when baking 3 trays of cookies. I like how fast the burners heat up to boiling. I do not like the surface of the cooktop. I have had this type of cooktop many times previously and always left them looking like new because I clean after every use with the correct type cleaner. Even after 9 years with my last one, you could not see any permanent discoloration or scratches. In less than two months, that is not true with this one. I'm very disappointed in that.

Of course the first feature my family and I tried was the rapid boil.....it met our expectations. The stove top gets hot but you don't feel a lot of heat coming from the top. This by far is the best stove we have had on years.
