this refrigerator seems to fluctuate both in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. i can never get consistant temperatures no matter if the fridge and freezer are full or half empty. my biggest pet peeve is cleaning bins and shelves...awful awful awful. i had something leak from the top shelf all the way down and the produce bins seem to have small holes in them which filled with the leaked material and i cannot clean. it looks beyond disgusting. the nooks and crannies that are inaccessible for cleaning are awful. never again would i buy a samsung refrigerator. all my other ones cleaned up nicely. very sad that these bins and shelves aren't sealed better.

tldr: this refrigerator is either a bad product with core components failing within a few years, or made to complicated to be fixable to begin with.
product was fine for about 2 years. had to pay a tech to come out and check it. he said the compressor failed, the part still had a warranty so they scheduled a time to replace it a week later. after replacing the compressor the freezer worked for a week. then it failed again, took them another week to come back "fixed it." except now nothing is working, and they are claiming they have more to do and we never set up the required "follow up". which they never contacted us or said anything about. so its been a solid month without a working freezer and a week with no fridge.

absolutely the best. it looks amazing the features are great lots of space for even big items. only thing i could complain about is water dispenser is a little difficult to press when using a plastic cup verses a glass. its in an akward spot as well. i am extremely happy with my purchase.

we purchased our samsung refrigerator in september 2017. in july of 2020, we started to hear a rattling noise from the fan; several days later, the refrigerator ceased to cool, and we now know that this was because of ice build up around the fan. since we were still under a service agreement, we were able to get the refrigerator repaired by a samsung technician; this included replacing the inside back panel and fan unit.
it is now october 2020, and we are hearing the same fan rattling again. given that we are now outside our three year service agreement, and given that we need to keep the refrigerator in use, we are for the moment using a hair dryer on the back panel to try and thaw it without removing the panel as a stopgap. our next refrigerator will not be a samsung.

this thing is so loud you can hear it over the tv in the other room. sound like they forgot the refrigerant oil. service tech came today, manually turned it on and said that's how they sound and left.

I bought this refrigerator almost a year ago and its like I just purchased it! Our fruits and vegetables have stayed so incredibly fresh and juicy, you don't need to purchase those airlock baggies or any other stay fresh products for your food to stay fresh! Our eggs, cheeses an milk last so much longer with a taste so cold and crisp, my children are eating better because the food tastes so fresh each time. The milk (if it lasted) is so incredibly cold,fresh an crisp, I purchase 4 gallons of milk about every week for their shakes, homemade cream, cereal, ice cream and just drinking, I wish i wasn't lactose intolerant! We're vegetarians so I can't say much about animal foods except that I'm sure it'll be just as fresh an incredible.

This refrigerator is extremely loud. From the first day that I plugged it in it has made extremely loud noise that has only gotten worse. I can hear the refrigerator making noise from the next room. This seems to be a known manufacturing defect. Would not recommend. Customer service has not been helpful in resolving the issue and a service request resulted in a person essentially telling me that I was unlucky that I was one of the people who bought a defective unit and I was stuck with it.

So far this has been a great fridge. We have had it for a month now. The space in it the french door is unbelievable i had room for everything in my old fridge and then some. Most of that fit in the door bins. Each of the veggie drawers will hold 18 cans of Bud light. then a case of cokes on the shelf with plenty of room left. Gallon milk jugs and juice bottles fit in the doors. The drinking water is inside but easily accessible and you can really tell the difference in the taste. The only issue I have is that the ice maker when it gets full starts to dump out the back and into the lower section of the freezer.

The freezer temperature wont go up over 5 degrees. Ice cream is like cement! What good is a freezer that wont keep ice cream at an acceptable temperature.

I only have one complaint... it mostly only happens when the ice maker is on but also when it is off just not as bad. The noises it makes really frightens me sometimes, so much so that I have actually walked round my house with a weapon looking for an intruder! It pops and makes cracking sounds, I can hear it from another room over very loud music while in the shower - a lot of other background noise happening so it seems odd that I can still hear the popping! But I do love the overall design & look, very sleek & sharp.

This product is all that Samsung said it would be and more. It has a fantastic appearance in our kitchen and really stands out with its design. Unlike our old fridge we cannot even hear it running.
We are very pleased with it and can't wait for our next Samsung appliance to be delivered next week to complete our kitchen. Thank you Samsung!
