i bought the four appliance package from home depot and have had repairs on the refrigerator, stove and dishwasher.
just today the oven quit working again, second time, the refrigerator has been repaired once and every summer we have to unload all the fresh and frozen food from the refrigerator and put it in coolers so that we can manually defrost the freezer section. the ice macker now only produces crushed ice. it does not matter if you push the button for cubbed ice!!! the dish washer started leaking underneath, i ended up disconnecting the entire unit in order to stop the leak. i'm totally disappointed with the entire appliance package and would not recommend this brand!!!!!

the shelves in the freezer barely fit. i am constantly having to rearrange how i put food in there because the shelves collapse. i literally just opened my freezer and so much food fell on the floor because of these shelves that do not fit properly. there is no drip tray under the ice and water dispenser. the cubed ice is always crushed. you are lucky if you get one whole piece. the whole design of this refrigerator is lazy and extremely cheap. it isn't worth $500. if you are about to buy it, dont. spend a little more money and get a better model. i have all samsung appliances. my whole kitchen, washer and dryer, four 65" tvs, everything. i love them all except this horrible refrigerator. being wheelchair bound with limited hand function makes you really hate products like this.

the freezer make aloud noise that lasts to hours when using the ice maker nothing comes out. then when we open the freezer door the built-up ice spills all over the kitchen floor.

Horrible product. Bought new from Sears. Needed repair after repair within 1st year. Now a year and a half and the freezer freezes too much but the fridge stays at 59 degrees no matter what temp I set it too. Samsung told me that Im SOL since my warranty is now up. Never again will I buy Samsung appliance.

I bought this about a month ago and really like it. I love the pizza compartment in the freezer. I wish it had a light in the door by the ice and water dispenser...that's the only complaint.

I'm new to a side by side and I love it for the most part. It has a lot of room. The cooling is even, the Ice maker works great and it warns you if you forget to close the door. I do wish the displays on the front were easier to see. I would also like to see a little more room in the freezer door. Other than those two items I'm very happy with it.

I have had stainless steel refrigerators in the past...too much work and way too many fingerprints all over the door daily. I used to have a freezer on the bottom...could never find anything in it! I chose the Samsung side by side refrigerator in white. I love the looks of it in my kitchen, always looks shiny and clean and I love the two full length doors. I can easily locate what I am looking for to easily remove and even easier reloading. Great lighting and the adjustable shelves are easy to clean plus the adjustable side shelves can accomodate the various container heights of the condiments I store on the door. I am very happy with my purchase! Thank you Samsung for making a great refrigerator!

Has every thing I want as far as deep freezer, beautiful led lights on inside. looks great. It is a little noisy in it's ice making process but you get used to it. The only reason I don't give it a five star rating is because it has no light at the water dispenser, hence you have to open the refrigerator door to see when your cup of water is getting full at night. What a waste of cooling/electricity, which means higher utility bill. Did I mention this highly frustrating!

The fridge is poorly designed. When you are viewing the model at the store the LED Lighting is bright. However, once the fridge is being used, the lighting is complete blocked with the exception of the 1st shelf. Since the unit is not equipped with a light, midway (like every other fridge ever made) the unit is completely dark, which makes it extremely difficult to clearly see foods.
The unit is not equipped with a cold cut drawer. Two drawers for the fruits/vegetable, but no exclusive space for cheeses and cold cuts. The fridge has plenty of space to accommodate one, it even has the grooves along the side to support one, but it is not offered for this design. Don't know what they were thinking..... perhaps their focus was on the LED lighting.
The ice compartment, yet another upset. I can't even open it.

I find that I have more space than the side by side I was replacing.
The only issue i have is that the wording on the selector panel are hard to see unless you have a bright light on in the kitchen. The words look like they are behind a smoked glass cover.
Unit itself cooled down in about 3 hours from connecting it. The freezer was at -20 deg and the fridge was at 33 deg.
The ice maker is a little noisy when the ice falls but it was empty. Now that the bin is getting full it is not as loud.

The design of this fridge is very simple. The water/Ice panel on the front of the fridge is very poorly lit. The right side (fridge) needs a meat/deli drawer. The chime indicator is very low. Not typical of Samsung refrigerators.
Kind of disappointed in Samsung on this model;-(

My mom who is 93 and lives alone has shrunk and is now 4' 6" and could no longer reach into the freezer on top with her old refrigerator. With this new side by side its much easier for her and the LED lighting is great for her failing eyesight. She also no longer needs to fill ice trays and loves the filtered water in the door.

I love my new refrigerator the only problem is the display panel, the wording does not show up at all and you don't know what the lights are unless you look sideways at the panel to see what it supposed to say. Like freezer, fridge, ice, and water. So I have to tape a paper from the manual on the front of the door to show what is supposed to be under there that it doesn't light up! I was told by coustomer service that it is not supposed to light up but I really really do not like that feature !!!

Overall it is ok, but has a sound like dripping water in the back of the frig. Also motor is loud (could not hear my old one at all) and has a constant hum to it. When water goes into the ice maker, it sounds like a tea kettle going off. Manual needs more info, such as how to register a product. Low lighting when full of foods (cannot see items on lower shelves). Front display needs back up lighting.

Overall good value for money. It was delivered with doors off and delivery crew reinstalled doors.
It all looked and worked well except ice delivery was not working. It made ice but would not push
it out through the door because the auger motor would not turn. Per instructions in packet I called Samsung service twice. Both times I got people who did not listen to me and obviously were reading a script or flow chart. Finally gave up and went back to store where I bought it. They had a
service tech come out and determined the door wires were not connected properly. Once wires
were connected properly it all worked fine. The water and icemaker are a bit loud. Hope I never
need to call Samsung service again.

After 14 years it was time for a new fridge. Happy with the color, size and appearance. The fridge when it showed up was missing shelves, had an ice-maker that is quite noisy. Samsung has since sent new shelves and replaced the ice-maker.

This refrigerator surpasses all my expectations! Freezer space is so much roomier that I really don't need the extra small freezer in my garage. I even have a little trouble finding enough products to fill the other side. Am really glad I bought it.

I really like the design, but the fridge is 3 inches more than our old one. So it doesn't fit depth as nicely, more than 6 1/2 inches sticks out past are counter top.
