Too many problems with the Wi-Fi connection. Now its not letting me enter the full Wi-Fi password. The TV monitor part is OK, but the "smart" electronics aren't.

I went to Walmart not really looking for a TV I came across this in a corner of the TV return Department was only four months from date of manufacture so I couldn't pass it up plug it in in the store no issues took it home I've had it for 2 years now great for a 32 inch high-def TV couldn't be more pleased

Bought this less than 2 years ago for a home gym i.e. low daily usage and almost none with the summer months allowing outside workouts. The TV worked great in the beginning although the set up/online functionality was a bit clunky. Sound quality wasn't ideal which wasn't a surprised so we added a sound bar. I purchased this set because of previous experience with Samsung LED TVs and good reviews. Today, I go to use it and it turned off automatically after being on about 5-6 minutes. Have tried every recommended suggestion with no success. Of course, it's out of warranty. Based on the community forums on Samsung and online reviews elsewhere, this is not an uncommon issue yet Samsung can't seem to provide a solution or workaround other than schedule a service call which most likely means buying a new TV. VERY disappointed.

Purchased this tv expecting a way to use wireless headphones with it. The only audio output is the optical out port. I purchased a bluetooth transmitter for optical output connection, but it is not working. I contacted the help chat at samsung to find out if the usb port could be used with a bluetooth transmitter dongle and got the answer that the port would only work with a wireless keyboard or mouse. Sounds like a simple firmware update could make it work, but I am not sure.

I've owned several Samsung TVs over the past decade. This is the second to worst I've owned.
I'm replacing a 10 year old Samsung 30". I've got limited space so was excited that I could get more screen space than I could a decade ago.
The positive. The smart tv, which I didn't have is great. Took a little bit of time to set up.
The bad. The sleep timer that used to be a one click button is now a menu button. Who when they are tired once to go through a menu.
The sound is absolutely horrible on this tv. Reminds me of my 13" college tv.
I was repacking a 720p 30" Samsung cause I had lost 2" of pixels vertically, but the new 1020 picture and sound is worse than what I had a decade ago.
I'll be paying the restocking fee to return this tv.
Did I mention the power cord won't stay connected to the tv.
Very very disappointed, I've always had good Samsung TVs but this one is not worth anything.

The audio randomly skips for a second or two, very frustrating. It can go 30 minutes without skipping and then skip multiple times in a matter of minutes. Samsung customer service has not provided a fix or solution.

Samsung decided to require an unusual screw to mount to the back of this TV, and then was to cheap to add the $4 worth of screws needed to attach to the flimsy plastic on the back of this TV. Most M4 screws are 10 mm in length. This TV requires a M4 screw that is p, get this, between 20.9 and 21.9 mm long. Try to find those anywhere. Totally disgusted with Samsung and BestBuy.

The quality of the picture is fine. Do not expect to watch this by just turning it on. To get to the channel I want, I have to go through several steps, not something I want to do at 6am. With the promotion of voice control, I thought the 2018 tv models came with it. This remote does not allow voice commands. Notice that the Spectrum app is no longer installed on delivery, and after installing it myself, it keeps cutting out. Spectrum says it is Samsung's fault. I tried to chat with a Samsung tech about it, but no one ever came on the chat. Returned my Samsung washer and dryer because it stopped working. Thought Samsung electronics were better. Not so sure.

This TV has an awesome picture but I should have believed the reviews about the audio sound. I bought this (7/18) for my bedroom on which I mostly watch News shows in the morning. The audio has a terrible vibration that is so annoying. I'm not talking about vibration from bass in movies or music rather from just news commentators speaking! Have tried adjusting through controls (sound equalizer) and having Samsung customer service adjust via remote control. Was told my only option is to take into an authorized service center since only 40" or above has in house service covered under warranty. Well the service center is too far away and I speculated this is not a repairable problem so I have decided to get an inexpensive sound bar instead. So factor that into your decision/budget when buying this TV. The good thing is that the TV has both HDMI and Optical cable outlets which are the best for sound bars.

We now have 2 Samsung TV's, an HD 56 inch TV in the family room, and now a 32 inch one in our kitchen. Both have excellent pictures and the colors are exquisite. We are very happy with both and would buy Samsung products again.

I am really impressed by the TV. The picture is so clean it almost looks like live TV. Love the sleep timer, set it and I don't have to worry about it being on all night. Wonderful gift from my Grandson.

I was using the ARC connection for my new Samsung sound bar. The sound was great for a couple weeks, then suddenly, no sound. Tried my old soundbar and had the same problem. Tried a new cable for both, same problem. Using the optical I hear all imperfections, like pauses (1/100th second blip) from satellite TV and internet streaming. This makes me crazy. I haven't called Samsung yet, but sounds like it won't help.

This unit has a very nice picture considering the price. Crisp, even with non HD programs. Old B&W movies are like an Ansel Adams photo. Then there is the sound... reminds me of two tin cans connected by a string. Horrible sound. No equalizer for modification. So, I will be using the audio output RCA jacks to an amplifier and two external speakers. Better yet, the full surround sound system. The unit is affordable enough that adding an external sound system is not much of a burden. They got the main part right- THE PICTURE!

I bought this tv when the one i have had for 4 1/2 yrs died. This is almost the same tv with the exception of it being a smart tv. It is very good. I liked my last Samsung so i sought another one when i was shopping for my new tv.

Love this t.v. Great price as for the sound can't say I have a sound bar. The picture is incredible for this price range. No problem in my opinion with brightness. WiFi works great. No problems so far hook up was easy.

I seem to need to constantly be resetting the internet connection when wanting to view Netflix or Amazon Prime through the TV apps, yet all other devices don't need to be reset. Also when watching through a DVD player/recorder, it's very difficult to set a good view on the screen... that is the picture always looks like small wide screen format. There are few options to change that to see a proper view.
The picture is fantastic as indicated in other reviews. The speakers are a little tinny. I have liked my Samsung phones in the past, just a little disappointed in the TV unfortunately.

The audio quality could be better but in all this is a great value. Navigation thru the menus is simple & easy to understand. A swivel base would have been nice but not a deal breaker. I think my next purchase will be a sound bar to improve the audio quality. We did have a connection issue which cause the audio to drop out on one channel only. With the assistance of Samsung & our cable provider we are inclined to believe the cause of the issue is in the originating broadcast.

first smart t.v. ever but figuring out the functions and controls was fairly easy love the image quality easy to set up navigate way lighter than I was expecting the only complaint I have about the tv is the sound it's not very loud so i would recommend assuming you have the funds to do so buying a samsung sound bar as well... it's my next purchase on my reward myself list

Overall, this is a great TV and the first TV I have ever seen at 32" with 1080p AND two HDMI inputs. The one thing that would have made this TV PERFECT would be a center swivel stand instead of two feet. The two feet make it hard to move or place on a small table. I would love to be able to place this on a small table and swivel it to where I would like it to face. Will have to buy a separate VESA mount to achieve this. Not ideal, but a good TV besides that.

Bought August 2017, would not select external DVD connected on either HDMI2 or Component Input. The DVD was recognized by Setup as a valid input, along with the cable TV box, but could not be selected with the remote after Setup was complete. The user site seniors home had no Wifi or wired internet so I could not update firmware until my son came along and configured his phone as a Wifi hotspot. A half hour download later he had new firmware installed and the external device was recognized and could be selected with the remote. Now we are working on the Autosize issue, the picture will not fill the screen automatically, even though we have tried all the Picture options. We have had to use the manual Zoom option to fill the screen, but that cuts off the video on some channels. Hope the next firmware fixes that, but I have to bring the unit in to the city to hook up to my system to upgrade, and that's just a pain. This unit was bought to replace a cratered 32 LCD that autosized just fine with the same cable box, so that's not the issue, and there are just not many 32 1080P units out there to choose from. Other than that, it's a nice unit and really nice picture quality.
